Rolling back

Releases are never overwritten. Rolling back points the site at an earlier one — its files are already uploaded, so it is live immediately, with nothing to rebuild.

How many recent releases are kept depends on your plan. A release given a tag with --tag is kept regardless, which is worth doing for a version you may want to return to.

Terminal window
one9x pages deploy --site mydocs --to ""

An empty --to means the release before the one that is live. It is the command to reach for when a deploy has just gone wrong.

List them first:

Terminal window
one9x pages releases list --site mydocs
SEQ VERSION TAG WHEN STATUS
v14 sha256:5c1904ab 2m ago live
v13 sha256:9f2a1b3c 1h ago
v12 sha256:41de88a0 3h ago

Then point the site at the one you want:

Terminal window
one9x pages deploy --site mydocs --to v12

The release you rolled away from is still there, at its own preview URL. Fix the problem and push, or point back at it with the same command.
